Magnolia Arts Art Show
This show was started in 1950 by Marjorie Chamberlain, a local art teacher, to display her students’ paintings. The Sidewalk Art Show was the predecessor to the Magnolia Blossom Festival and the World Championship Steak Cook-off, which brings thousands of visitors to Magnolia. The Sidewalk Art Show is now held inside the Magnolia Arts Center, located on the Square. Also taking place inside the Arts Center this year, a magic show for kids!
This isn't your typical beauty pageant, no gowns to be seen here! Instead, contestants use a Blossom Festival Shirt to showcase their unique personalities.
